If you need to send someone a Google Calendar page that opens to a specific date range, here is how.

Note the top calendar opens to the current date (that's the default setting), but the bottom calendar opens to a specific date in the future.

How did I do that? I added the date range at the tail end of the link or embed code supplied by Google:

&dates=20150901%2F20150930

Note that the numerals before the "%" indicate the beginnning date (I chose the first day of the month), followed by the end date after the "%" sign.
