Does anyone have a favorite author that they would care to recommend? I am an avid reader, and I have an assortment of books at my disposal. However, I am looking to adjust my propensity toward other topics. At present, I would typically delve into an early 1900s romance novel with joy. I do find that this has become a bit tedious for my liking, so if anyone has any author recommendations, I would love to take note! TIA
Bella Forrest writes a great book series called "The Girl Who Dared". If you like The Hunger Games or the Divergent series you would love this one!
Hmm. It’s pretty hard to say I have a favorite author I guess.
I think a series that is a really good fantasty read that isn’t that popular as far as widespread acclaim, would be the summerland series by L.B Graham. It has the closest thing to a Gandalf character besides perhaps dumbledore. Really great characters, and I like the story, it has some serious twists and turns.
Another good one would be Codex Alera by Jim butcher.
Kristin Hannah is one of my many favorite authors. She has so many wonderful books to choose from! The first one i read was titled "The Nightingale" and is a historical fiction about two sisters in France during World War II and their resistance of the German occupation of France. Her most current novel, "The Women" is also very good and is about nurses in the Vietnam War. Check her out! You won't be sorry.
