Book Recommendation: Raptor Red

This book has been around for a while, so this is not exactly a new recommendation. Raptor Red is a novel by paleontologist Robert T. Bakker based on his research into Utahraptor. It falls firmly under animal literature without straying into anthropomorphism, and delivers Bakker's then-current hypotheses in an entertaining and accessible format. The book was originally published in 1995, so it has some out of date science. (No feathers on the raptors, for example.) However, I think it's a great example of balancing entertainment, education, and a fun read in one little book. If you like Walking With Dinosaurs you will enjoy it!
