If I could have a single superpower, I would have to choose to have the ability to freeze time. My entire life, I've been so eager to push the hand of the ticking clock to speed over to the minute I'd be done with school, done with the work day, done with all of the trivial bores that filled my day to day. I never paid my time much mind, until the minute my daughter entered my world. Every time she grows a new hair or learns a new skill my time becomes that more precious by the minute. The clock that use to run too slow is now rushing me through the rapid current of my daughters childhood. I wish I could break that dastardly clock for even just a second and keep my baby small for just a little while.
