Although J.K Rowling got canceled for transphobic comments a little while ago I think the Harry Potter series is a must-read and can stand apart from her latest comments. The movies do an excellent job summarizing the stories but if you'd like to be consumed in a different world for over 4000 pages this is the series about magic, friendship, and defeating evil that you need.
