If you're someone who's interested in seeing history come to life (in an overly dramatized way of course), the show Reign is a show following Mary the queen of Scotland as she follows through with her arranged marriage to Francis, the next in line to the thrown of France.
I highly recommend either Mr. Robot or Bojack Horseman. They both delve deep into the psychology of the characters, and have some deep meaning behind them.
