If I could have one superpower it would be the ability to talk to animals so I could talk to my dogs.
I've talked to animals for many years. Most of them do understand what you say. When you combine gestures, tone and expressions to your dialogue, it is easier for them to understand you and react. It is more difficult to understand their side of the conversation, but when you learn their tone and gestures, you will find that you can have a meaningful conversation with animals.
