I've recently started reading the Darkest Minds series which is more of a young adult syfy book series about a disease that started killing off kids between the ages of 8-15, but those who didn't die from the virus gain abilities of different levels and they are color coded by their abilities. The government decides that because they have these abilities they could be dangerous, but they don't want to come out and say that so they tell the parents that they can take their kids to a facility to be "rehabilitated" when in reality these are just prison camps. It's all told from the point of view of the main character at least the first book is. The world has become basically a dystopian society over the years the kids have been in the camps. I'm not describing it very well but the books are freaking amazing!
