I am highly recommending Dark Harvest by Norman Partridge for this year's spooky season! Set in a small midwestern town, local teenage boys are set loose to track and kill October Boy every Halloween with the promise of grand prizes and a chance to escape rural living forever. Suspenseful and clever, this short novel provides an imaginative way to get into the Halloween spirit.
Due to my love for the spooky and Halloween, this book sounds like it is right up my alley, thanks for the recommendation.
