If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?

I would love the ability to shape shift into different creatures or objects. It would come in handy in several different situations. Say you were on a hike with a friend then ended up lost, you could turn into a bird and guide your friend and yourself back to safety. If you could turn into objects you could become a compass or map for your friend.

So if you changed into a map would it be like the map off Dora The Explorer, where you can talk or would you be normal map?

I also choose shape shift but because I wanted to experience life from different perspectives.
