I am still having a hard time figuring out my moodle app and how to scan and upload my assignments

Thank you for this video which i watched before, but my God, so many steps to submit the assignment. My challenge is that when I open an assignment, I cannot edit (add answers). I have to download to pdf, again more steps, then edit, then save then upload to my assignment page. Canvas is so much easier.
