9.1 Sample MLA 1st Year Research Paper

This paper is provided by the Modern Language Association as an example of a first-year argumentative writing sample. It is in exactly the format that we're looking for and uses sources extremely well throughout. Note that I'm not endorsing the argument made here at all, just the format of the argument and quotations within. Please use it as a model.
