We had a productive jigsaw conversation about the various social categories.  We thought about a question which pertains to each category.  Instead of meeting in small groups, we met in pairs and participated in a knowledge exchange.  If you weren't here, take notes on five categories from the "Beyond Race" Text.  In your notebook, include the notes and a question and answer which explores the topic.  See jigsaw sign-up page posted earlier this week to see the categories.

We also chose a topic from the ED 219 Civil Rights Quiz sign up sheet.  You need to choose at least 2 topics from the list.  Research each term and discover its connection to the Civil Rights movement and/or the 1960s era in the U.S.  Bring the 2 notecards to class to submit on Monday.
