Saturday, the 22nd and Tuesday, the 25th, members of the Hort Club, Jonas Hoffman, Dan Smith, and myself, with Ben, my eldest grandson hauled two loads of grass hay bales to the Campus Farm. These bales were donated by a farmer because of rain damage. Thanks goes to Harlan from Lebanon for the straw. Harlan is supportive of schools in the area and has donated straw in the past, as well. These bales will work very well in composting because they are rain-soaked already.
