8.1 Revision Plan or Conference with Jenn

Objectives: Further understand the rhetorical situation; increase understanding of writing process, including revision and synthesis.

Time: Approximately 1 hour (adjusted on main schedule)

Deadline: Week 8, Wednesday <--- NOTE, this is next week, though the assignment is "scheduled" for the end of Week 7. This will allow you time to read your feedback before submitting. 

Instructions:

For this assignment, you may choose one of two activities:

1. Create a revision plan for your second essay.

After receiving feedback from your peers in the Workshop, complete the Revision Plan Worksheet linked here. Submit the worksheet here when completed. 

2. Schedule a virtual or in-person conference with Jenn to discuss your second essay. This may be completed before or after your peer review is complete.

To schedule a conference, follow these steps: 

1. Make sure you're logged in to your linnbenton.edu Google account.
   
2. Visit my public appointments calendar.
   
3. Schedule a 30-minute time slot. I have in-person office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I have online/virtual meeting times available nearly every other day next week and Week 8.
   
4. Either the night before or morning of your conference, you'll receive an e-mail from me with log in directions for the online conference. These will be conducted using either Google Hangouts (through your school-provided e-mail) or Zoom.
